If you want to have light brown hair, but don't bet on the look because of discoloration, know that it is possible to achieve this hair color without bleaching. That's right you read it, diva. By choosing the right coloring nuance, you can have the trending lit brunette look without having to go through an intense discoloration process and preserving the health of the hair. Were you curious to know how? See the tips!

To achieve light brown hair without bleaching, use a shade three shades above your natural color.

The big secret to achieving light brown hair without bleaching it is to choose a shade that is up to three tones above your natural color. Don't know what that means? We explain: the box dyes we use to dye our hair at home lighten natural hair - that is, without any artificial color - by up to three tones.

This means that if you have dark brown hair, which is represented by number 3 on the hair color chart, it is possible to achieve a shade starting with 6, which represents dark blonde, a shade that has a brownish base and is commonly confused with light brown.

Leaving the dark brown for a nuance whose base is dark blonde, it is now possible to achieve a very luminous look without going blonde. If your natural strands are light brown, the luminosity will be a little higher, but the base will remain brownish.

Nuances with golden and auburn highlights are perfect for subtly highlighting brown hair

In addition to the main color of the nuance, the reflections are also fundamental so that you can achieve light brown at home and without discoloring. In ink boxes, they are indicated by the numbers that appear after the dot that separates them from the numbering of the main shade.

The mixture of golden and mahogany reflections on the dark blonde is sure to leave brown hair lit with subtlety and shine, without discoloring it, of course. This is because the union of these pigments results in a hair color similar to caramel, a luminous and modern color that lies between dark blonde and light brown.

In the coloring boxes, the golden reflections are represented by the number 3 and the auburn by the number 5. That is, if you have dark or light brown hair and want to lighten it up, look for a dye with the number 6.35.

Coppery and gray highlights are ideal for more intense light brown hair

If instead of a subtle lightened brown hair, you prefer a slightly more intense lightening, nuances with coppery and grayish reflections are the ideal choice to achieve the color without discoloration. The copper tones are darker and more striking than the golden ones, but at the same time they are very luminous, so they stand out over the brown strands and leave a very elegant air in the look.

The gray reflections are represented by the number 4, while the gray ones are by the number 1 in the coloring boxes - but that's only when they are behind the point, ok? Just like the reflections that originate caramel, this mixture results in an intense coppery brown that is very reminiscent of coffee brown hair, a trend for light brunettes this season.

Therefore, when looking for your hair dye to make light brown at home, look for shades numbered 6.41 and you will be able to achieve the look without bleaching.
