Looking for tips on when and how to use keratin on your hair, diva? Anyone who has heard of this treatment knows that it can be a hero or villain of the threads. If applied the wrong way, keratin can make hair stiff. But if used at the right time and in the right way, keratin helps to strengthen the strands, fighting porosity, providing more softness, movement and shine to the locks.

And to help you rock the treatment, we've prepared this step-by-step guide on how to apply keratin to your hair. Come with us!

When and how to use keratin on your hair: everything you'll need to get the treatment right

Keratin treatment, especially liquid keratin, is indicated for those with damaged or porous hair and/or who have just undergone a chemical procedure. An example of a chemical process that makes locks need keratin replacement is coloring, which can make locks sensitized. Women who have damaged and dry hair due to frequent flat ironing and curling irons can also use this treatment to restore hair. For those who do the capillary schedule, keratin can be included in the reconstruction stage.

But the treatment does not begin and end with liquid keratin alone. To get the most out of this little product, it's worth doing a complete routine, using other products with keratin in the composition to enhance the treatment. Want a diva tip? The Powerful Reconstruction line, by Niely Gold, has shampoo, conditioner, liquid keratin, mask and combing cream to work together to restore the locks. In addition to MAXQueratina-V, the products have bamboo extract to promote strengthening, hydration and softness.

Step 1: before applying the keratin, wash your hair with reconstructive products

The first step in our tutorial on how to use keratin in your hair is washing the hair. Start by applying the Powerful Reconstruction Shampoo to the roots of wet locks, massage the scalp and rinse. If necessary, repeat the procedure. After rinsing the shampoo, apply conditioner to the lengths and ends of the hair, let it act for 3 minutes and rinse.

Step 2: with clean hair, it's time to apply the liquid keratin to the hair

Still in the shower, remove excess water from the strands with your hands and divide them into locks. Then, start applying liquid keratin to your hair, spraying the product on lengths and ends. Let it act for 10 minutes. Attention diva: after the liquid keratin action time, do not rinse your hair! Leave the product on the strands and proceed to step number 3.

Step 3: after applying the liquid keratin, proceed with the reconstruction mask

After 10 minutes, take the Powerful Reconstruction Treatment Mask and apply evenly throughout the hair, concentrating the product only on the lengths and ends of the strands. Let it act for three minutes and rinse the locks thoroughly.

Step 4: finish the treatment with a styling cream to prolong the treatment

After rinsing off the liquid keratin and mask, it's time to finish the strands and seal the treatment into the locks. For this, a combing cream with keratin in the composition is the best bet, as it helps to prolong the effect of the treatment, in addition to protecting the strands from external aggressions in everyday life.

Remove excess water from the locks and, if you wish, separate them into locks and apply the Powerful Reconstruction Combing Cream in the amount necessary for your hair length and volume. Let it dry naturally or use a hairdryer and your reconstructive treatment is finished.

How often to use keratin on hair?

This ritual with liquid keratin can be done on your hair once every 15 days or once a month, depending on the level of damage to your locks. It is important to intersperse the reconstruction with other treatments so as not to overload the strands and also ensure that they are receiving other necessary nutrients. Combined, diva?
