Hair reconstruction is very important to keep curly and curly hair healthy. This treatment is responsible for restoring proteins to the hair, such as keratin, repairing all the damage present in the hair fiber. It is the last treatment of the capillary schedule and can be done with different frequencies according to the state of the threads, but with the same products: capillary reconstruction mask, shampoo and more. In addition, reconstruction with liquid keratin is one of the most practical ways to rebuild curls on a daily basis.

Fica Diva will teach you how to do capillary reconstruction on curly and frizzy hair, the benefits, what to use and the best frequency for your locks. Check it out!

What is the use of hair reconstruction in curly and frizzy hair?

Like other types of hair, curly and frizzy hair can suffer damage such as breakage, opacity, rough touch, uncontrolled frizz and split ends by external agents such as sun and pollution, or by the excessive use of heat tools and chemical procedures. , such as coloring, discoloration, relaxation and straightening - as in the case of those undergoing hair transition. This damage needs to be repaired for the hair to be healthy again, even if it is natural and, especially, when it is damaged by chemicals and the heat of tools. To repair this damage, capillary reconstruction replaces proteins, which are responsible for strengthening and giving resistance to the hair.

How do I know if my curly or kinky hair needs hair reconstruction?

All curly and frizzy hair needs hair reconstruction! What changes from hair to hair is the frequency of treatment, which you will learn more about below. To find out the real needs of your strands and if they first need reconstruction or hydration and nutrition, the tip is to do a homemade capillary porosity test. Too easy! Fill a glass of filtered water and leave a few strands clean for 10 minutes. After that time, review:

• If the strands float, it means that your hair has low porosity. That is, the cuticles are closed and the wires retain little treatment, needing hydration to treat the problem;

• If the strands are in the middle of the glass, the hair is medium porosity, in need of nutrition treatment to replenish oils and nutrients;

• If the strands sink in, the hair is highly porous and in need of a good amount of rebuilding to get it back to being healthy.

Curly and frizzy hair that underwent chemical procedures need more reconstruction to return proteins to the strands and repair fragile, elastic, brittle, elastic hair with frizz and split ends. Those with frizzy and curly hair without chemicals need treatment to rebuild strands damaged by sun exposure, pollution and excessive humidity to prevent dryness and uncontrolled frizz.

How to do capillary reconstruction in curly and frizzy hair?

To do hair reconstruction, it is important to know how to use each product in the right way. Check out the step by step on how to do reconstruction with keratin:

Step 1: With wet hair, apply the shampoo to the scalp, massage and rinse. Repeat if necessary. After that, apply the conditioner to the lengths and ends, let it act for 3 minutes and then rinse.

Step 2: Remove excess water from the hair with your hands and separate it into locks. Spray Niely Gold Liquid Keratin strand by strand from length to ends. Let it act for 10 minutes and proceed to the next step (still without rinsing the wires!).

Step 3: Apply the hair reconstruction mask from the same range over the entire length and ends of the hair. Let it act for 3 minutes and rinse the locks.

Step 4: To prolong the treatment and untangle curly and frizzy hair, apply the styling cream to the lengths and ends of damp hair. If you prefer, scrunch the curls and let them dry naturally or with the help of a diffuser, as the styling cream in the line has thermal protection.

How often should I do hair reconstruction on curls?

Divas who have gone through discoloration and notice that the curls are very dry and lackluster can have it reconstructed once a week. This frequency should decrease in cases where the hair is healthy and chemical-free, as excess keratin can make the strands stiff and cause the opposite effect. Once a month is enough for healthy curly and frizzy hair.
