Brown or golden flaxseed, which is better?

Both are excellent for the hair, but the golden one is usually more suitable because it is rich in omega 3 and antioxidants - not to mention that the brown one has a stronger smell and can bother you. In addition, the first option also leaves the gel with a thicker texture.

How to choose the best oil for gel?

Almond oil and grapeseed oil are the lightest and still have a great shine, but you can use any vegetable you like. If pure oil weighs down your hair, it's not a good idea to add it to your recipe.

Almond oil: It is ideal for especially dry and brittle hair, to smooth and remove volume from frizzy and voluminous hair.

Coconut oil: it will be very useful in cases of dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis or itching in general, as it has antibacterial properties. If you have very oily hair, you can follow the same procedure but using coconut milk.

Grape seed oil: excellent source of amino acids and vitamins, hydrates and provides more shine to lifeless hair.

Aloe vera oil: with essential mineral salts, Aloe Vera has a moisturizing action, leaving hair smooth and easy to comb.

Jaborandi oil: assists in strengthening the root and balancing the natural oiliness of the hair.

How should I use flaxseed gel on my hair?

With wet hair, apply a little leave-in and detangle. Then, take some of the gel and apply it strand by strand, already squeezing it to form the curls. If you have time to spare, take the opportunity to put into practice some texturing techniques, such as tape, coconuts, twist, among others.
