Having the hair in its natural curvature is a victory for curly hair and also for curly hair. Therefore, many girls are afraid to submit their curls to the coloring process. But it's important to keep in mind that by doing all the steps correctly, your locks don't suffer any risk of stretching or getting irreversible damage. In fact, the black shade is the easiest to work with on the hair, but even so, it is essential to consider some care before and after coloring.

The healthier your curls are, the better the result.

A common mistake among women who do their own coloring is thinking that dark colors do not damage the locks. Any process of coloring the hair can harm the structure of the hair, even if the tone is black. So, fix any problems your hair has before applying your toner or permanent color. In this way, your curls will be preserved, the result will be of a uniform color and the strands will remain healthy.

Black toner is the best choice for curly hair

Curly hair has a more sensitive strand because of its natural curvature, so if you can avoid formulas with ammonia your curls will thank you. This substance can be very aggressive and is present in permanent color compositions. In the case of black, betting on a toner is the best choice for curly hair. This way of coloring is less aggressive and just as effective as the perm in terms of color. The main difference is that it lasts for around 28 washes and then it needs to be touched up.

Make a mixture of liquid keratin and vegetable oil when coloring

Of course, the curl care routine must be maintained before and after coloring. The focus should be on the reconstruction stage to make the strands much stronger to carry out the chemical procedure. But how about taking care of hair while coloring? That's right, diva! You can make an even safer coloring with the help of two little products: liquid keratin and vegetable oil. Follow the step by step:

1st step: wash your hair with shampoo to remove any product residue without rinsing that is on the strands, avoid anti-residue shampoo.

2st step: place the entire contents of the ammonia-free coloring tube into the bottle containing the developer emulsion. Then add 10 sprays of liquid keratin and 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil.

3st step: close the lid and mix well until a homogeneous consistency is formed. Then just apply to damp hair and follow the instructions for use in the coloring manual. Keratin will prevent damage and oil will nourish your curls, leaving an amazing result!
